RSA

Over the last 6 years I have worked a lot with Underground Media on many projects for the global insurance company RSA. I have filmed in many of their offices around the world for their internal communications teams. Highlights have included the following:

As part of RSA's UK Community Programme they run an annual series of Volunteer Week projects. I have produced films for their volunteer events for the past 2 years and included projects such as:

In South London, team members alongside the charity Kids Company helped to renovate a primary school playground, painting animal decorations around the school recreation areas. image

In Liverpool, the volunteers worked with the National Trust, planting trees and strengthening the sand banks along Formby beach. image

A team of staff helped to develop an ornamental garden for patients being treated at a Sue Ryder Hospice in Cambridgshire. The short films I have directed for this project promote their work within the community and encourage other members of staff to take part in future events.

For their Winning With The Customer film I went to their offices in India, Colombia, Lativa & Argentina to make a film to celebrate simple practises that have made a great difference to RSA customers.

In 2007 I spent 2 weeks in China making a information DVD for RSA's employees who may want to relocate there. I interviewed all kinds of people who had travelled from all over the world to live in China. The DVD covered everything you need to know before you move, from engaging yourself in the new culture, accomodation, your children's education to shopping and life in the new office.

In 2010 I travelled to Santiago in Chile to make a film to highlight the efficient work that was undertaken by their teams when the country was struck by a massive earthquake.

I worked alongside the client to select the most powerful stories, we made good use of archive, photographs and news reports combined with the new footage that I filmed with a local crew. The film was called "Heroes of the Chilean Earthquake" and was shown at their 2010 global leaders event.
