for kovak's "electric city lights" we wanted to make something that would keep the audience hooked into 1 shot and keep enough action on screen to keep them interested. cue a backwards 1 take shoot that caused pain, chaos and mess... filmed on DV cam by matt ford at ppl studios - easiest edit ever (just reversed the action) on final cut pro.
boogaloo stu came to me with some crazy wigs, puppets and the sparklemotion show ponies. how could i resist making a video with a bag of tricks like that. the shoot was amazing fun and i'm thrilled with the end result... filmed on DV cam by matt ford at ppl studios - edited myself on final cut pro
kovak are a brighton based band who i've worked with alot. i learnt loads both on the shoot and doing the edit for this video which was very much me wanting to do something and then learning by trial and error how to do it. the flashing dancefloor just brings the song to life - this is actually the 2nd version of the video and who knows maybe there'll be a 3rd? maybe not... filmed on digi beta by matt ford at ppl studios - edited myself on final cut pro
